Born and raised in Kedah, Eng Tay’s artistry was nevertheless honed by the art scenes in Europe

He works in several media, including limited edition etching, painting and sculpture

In 1993, he established Tapir Editions (A Professional Artist Studio) in New York. He continues to work in TriBeCa Studios, SoHo, NYC.

Most of his work has found its greatest expression when addressing the concept of family – the poetry of the family, of man and woman, of children, of friendship, of music and of the natural world.

His works are also featured in permanent collections in various galleries locally and worldwide, including New York City of USA, Bahamas, Japan, Singapore and Taiwan.
