• A conceptual artist whose work centers on not only his personal experiences but of urban communities and the crossover of various cultures among the populace.
• Works include installations, publications, animations, collages and participatory events

• Modus operandi is making friends and letting this chart the course of his art-making. Relies on an extensive global network of “superfriends” who come in as collaborators on his projects

• Earlier collaborations were often presented as cartoons, including his many drawing featuring a shadowy winged character by the name of Muggo, who Ise sees as his alter ego.
• Runs an artist space called “Parking Project” out of his apartment in Kuala Lumpur, acquainted with “expressions of popular culture such as comics and graffiti and the manner in which they serve to represent alternate histories of place and culture.”

• Worked on animated shorts, including a comedic spin on the life and times of legendary Malay warrior Hang Tuah, which mashes up classic film footage and his drawings
• Co-founder of sentAp! – a quarterly English-Bahasa art publication on contemporary art in Malaysia
