  • Sharon Chin is an artist, writer and curator.
  • She is recognized as one of the most outstanding and prolific young artists in Malaysia.
  • Working across media, her work looks at how we negotiate geography, history, human relations and language in the contemporary imagination. She has exhibited extensively in Malaysia and abroad – including Australia, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Myanmar, Vietnam, Indonesia and Korea.
  • In 2009, she co-founded Arteri, a popular website about art and culture in Malaysia and South East Asia. She is also a member of Buka Kolektif, which organized the first international performance art festival at the National Art Gallery of Malaysia in 2011.
