• Shooshie’s representation of art varies from drawings, collages, architectural installations, to performance art.

• The inspiration and motivation for her to create are based on and extend from her personal experiences, memories, and emotions, digging out her interest in some issues, which arise though her inspection.

• Shooshie has exhibited broadly both in Malaysia and internationally. Her recent exhibitions include in Art Stage Singapore 2012 (Singapore), Singapore Biennale 2011(Singapore Art Museum, Singapore), 6th Asia Pacific Triennial 2009 (Brisbane, Australia), and Documenta 12, 2007 (Kassel, Germany).

• She also curates exhibitions and runs 12, an alternative art space in Kuala Lumpur.
