• Siti Zainon is a Malaysian author of Malay art heritage, artist, poet and painter.

• Currently a professor at UKM, she first began studying pinch fabric batik in Kota Bharu.

• Represented the country in reading poetry, painting exhibitions and seminars throughout the country and the culture of art at an international level as in the Philippines (1976); Bhopal , India (1985); Berlin West (1985, 2000); Seoul, Korea 1986.1989, and Russia (2003).
