The Black Side is a solo exhibition by Indonesian artist Christine Ay Tjoe.
According to the gallery’s press release, Ay Tjoe’s works “focus on the complexity of human relations and depicts the brutal sides of human emotions in society today.”
“Yet, Ay Tjoe does not ‘judge’ the world we live in today but instead, leaves it open to the interpretation of her viewers,” adds the press release.
The opening reception is on Sept 29 at 4pm.
